“09/11/2001 – Ten Years Later”
September 11, 2011 marks the tenth anniversary of the most terrible attack on freedom and democracy in the history of the American people. In the wake of this event, the war on terror gained a new dimension. Not even the death of Osama bin Laden on May 1, 2011 will end the violence.
On this anniversary, a terror squad attacks a peaceful island in the Sea of Andaman and takes hostages in a tourist hotel that is filled American citizens. While an ultimatum to the government in Washington ticks down, the executions begin.
The hostages’ fate appears to be sealed. Then a glimmer of hope appears:
Tom Sneyders, a lone fighter of European background, who happens to be here on vacation, embarks on a seemingly hopeless struggle…
Ironically, the USA itself was responsible for molding a former Taliban fighter, Ibrahim Akul, into the commander of this killing squad…
